Connecting With Others
Ever try to learn a foreign language? Then you have been on a language journey. Your language journey will take time and a lot of energy. If you do well on your journey, you will be able to enjoy a more meaningful life within that culture. As an English teacher and Cantonese student in Hong Kong, I believe connecting with others is important. I have a lot to share on this subject. In the Language section I blog about my experience learning Cantonese. There are also video interviews where I ask others to share their experience learning a foreign language.
I love photography and video. In this section, I blog about adventures both in and outside of Hong Kong. Recently there has been a lot of road construction and housing development in my area. I cover that. Also join me for a variety of trips to places like China, Cambodia, Myanmar, the US etc… I also blog about events at my school and camera equipment.
In this section, I will share with you about life in Hong Kong. You will get to hear about the ups and the downs that I think a lot foreigners experience. I will share about areas such as Hobbies, Loneliness, Time, Overtime, Responsibility and more. In each case, I hope you will be able to gain some insights from my experiences or from the experiences of those that I have written about.
