Years go by, but old friends still hold a special place in our hearts. My best friend growing up had his surprise 50th birthday celebration (He is the guy on the right). His wife Veronica organized it for him and contacted me on Facebook to let me know about it. Great job Veronica! I’m so glad that Tracy and I got to play a part in Stephen’s special day. As you will see from the video, we ate well. It was delicious. Stephen is a special guy. He has been serving in Eagles Wings ever since he graduated from music school. That’s probably close to 30 years. Eagles Wings is an Christian ministry that travels the world promoting a heart for Israel. Stephen has led worship and preached in many churches. A number of people at the dinner shared about how Stephen had impacted their lives. Although we have not connected as much in recent years, I definitely echo the words that were shared about Stephen having a heart for excellence and being a humble man.
The Years Yet To Come
May the years to come be the best yet. The title of the post is Old Friends. But Stephen and Veronica are not old. They are just getting started :). Stephen wrote the song he is singing in the background of this video a number of years ago. They have 3 kids, who are privileged to have such amazing parents. May the Lord continue to bless you guys.
