Light reveals a scenes beauty. Yes, I know it can be fun to play in the dark, but not total darkness. Yesterday, I went exploring with some friends on Chuang Chao island. We went into a cave where everything was dark. The kids in our group loved it. They used their smart phone lights to play around and experience the joys of shadows, darkness, and light.  Without some sort of light source, we would not be able to appreciate the image. School Picnic and Students Who Never Climbed a Tree Before

School picnics are fun. I am glad that I can still say this. I actually had no point of reference for them before teaching here in Hong Kong. Still I imagine that they are not fun for everyone. I was recently talking with a friend who said that she does not like BBQ - barbecue. She prefers to have food made for her and served to her without all the waiting time that typically accompany BBQ.
